Extremely grateful for the expert guidance!
My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Lisette Van Tilburg as our real estate agent for our recent home purchase. We came to Lisette with a tough situation – we needed a house ASAP since our lease was expiring in two months and we had nowhere to go after that. Lisette was upfront with us that it would be a tall task, especially given the crazy housing market in Amsterdam, but in the end she more than delivered.
Throughout the homebuying process, she expertly guided us through viewings, assessing properties, and ultimately making an offer and closing. As first time homebuyers who are also expats, we had many questions and Lisette was always happy and willing to answer. We especially appreciated her quick communication. We also felt she always had our best interests at heart and were never pressured to make offers that didn’t make sense for us.
In the end, our first offer was accepted after a little back and forth with the seller and we CLOSED on the perfect starter home for us in just under 7 weeks from our initial meeting with Lisette. This is even in spite of a hiccup with our mortgage provider, which she also navigated as a true professional. For what it’s worth, our home also assessed for higher than we paid, so having the instant equity made us feel we scored a great deal.
We are still in disbelief that she was able to make this home purchase happen so quickly and are so grateful for her expertise guiding us along the way. Highly recommend!
Wilfred has truly exceeded all expectations
From Canada, we recently moved back to the Netherlands. We are often critical of service providers, but Wilfred has truly exceeded all expectations. First, he helped us find a temporary rental home, and later he assisted us in our search for a new house to buy. Wilfred goes above and beyond for his clients—more like ten steps beyond. Knowledgeable, professional, and a genuinely great guy!
